Today I realised that people always don't mean what they say and say what they mean. It is up to us to understand the meaning behind their words and act accordingly. But what if we understand them wrongly? Then it is our turn to get surprised when we finally realise what they always meant. So how do you understand what somebody actually means? I don't know. I have failed in analysing people and admitting it is a great step towards losing my ego. But the lesson also turned out to be quite hurtful. After all, falling is quite natural for those who walk, right?
I miss the complexity of the book and am tired of the predictability of people. Reading each page of a book takes you to a different realm, and often surprises you with its observations. I agree books are written by people, but why do people remain predictable in life and unpredictable in fiction?
... the singularly most important person one has to understand is oneself! ... when one completely understand ones true universal self, one could see through everyone else too ... conversely, if one hasn't understood ones own values, motives, fears & powers within, how could one understand the others objectively?
ReplyDelete... keep walking, never mind falling, for, the fun is in the journey enriched by our own fallings-&-risings ...
